Good cleansing is the base of skin-care routine – this is what we read in every other beauty article. Do you know how to choose a perfect face cleanser, though? It’s hard to make a decision because we are spoilt for choice. See the possibilities you have: the best face washes. What to use for a perfectly clear face?

What face cleanser to use?

FACE CLEANSING GEL

An extremely popular cleanser which sometimes fails to serve its purpose. The effect it produces often proves too harsh for sensitive skins. Most gel cleansers are based on alcohols or other irritating substances that dry out the skin, causing redness and irritations. This usually happens in the case of delicate, hypersensitive and allergy-prone skins but remember that you can easily damage any skin type by using harsh and unsuitable products.

FACE CLEANSING MILK

A gentle cleansing milk is made for both removing your make-up and washing the face. A perfect pick for sensitive, dry skins. The mild formula causes no irritations but perfectly banishes any residue, excess oil or all the grease that clogs the pores.

FACE CLEANSING POWDER

An enzyme powder is quite new and untypical. This type of face wash is cut out for sensitive complexion. Powder is ideal if you need deep cleansing without red patches. A good enzyme powder smoothes the face and restores the hydration, clearing the skin of the dead cells in a non-invasive way. It’s mixed with some water and applied on the damp face skin.

FACE CLEANSING FOAM

These days it seems to be the most popular face wash. Foam is gentle but it perfectly clears the face skin, plus is filled with conditioning substances so it has a deep-cleansing effect and improves the state of skin at the same time. Lots of foams boast superb ingredients, vegan and all-natural.

FACE CLEANSING OIL

You may be taken aback but this is true: nothing clears the skin better than oil! Oils are best for removing oils so you can get rid of any dirt by choosing a good organic oil. Create your own oil cleansing blend!

How to wash the face?

A product isn’t the only thing that matters because the way of cleansing is important as well. Above all else, remember that water for washing shouldn’t be too warm. Use cold water for the final rinsing to stimulate the blood flow.

If you’ve got sensitive skin, don’t rub it too hard and don’t use scrubbing products with abrasives. If you do, you may cause the capillaries to break and get the spider veins on the face.

Many people give up on tap water for face washing and go for mineral or boiled water. If your skin breaks out easily, dry it using a paper towel to avoid transferring any bacteria.
