What’s Yellow Peel?

Yellow Peel is the most gently working and the less invasive chemical peel of all. Thanks to this, it can be applied even in the case of very sensitive eye skin area and delicate hand skin. After combining all ingredients the preparation is made from, the peel gains yellowish colour – and this is where its name comes from.

Yellow Peel treatment consists of three stages during which, depending on skin needs, various substances are needed. The treatment begins with cleaning skin due to special preparation, which is removed after 20 minutes. Then, during the first phase of peel, the most external layer of epidermis is removed. To do this, either salicylic or glycolic acid is used. These two acids affect skin most intensively, therefore they must be rinsed after a few minutes.

The second stage of Yellow Peel treatment aim is to stimulate collagen and elastin production, which are known as the proteins of youth, thanks to which skin wins firmness and suppleness. For that reason, there are a few layers of retinoid acid and vitamin C applied to skin. They are removed after 15-20 minutes.

In the third phase of Yellow Peel, there are three acids applied (phytic, kojic and azelaic acid) to reduce visibility of small scars and discolorations. Also, the same acids are responsible for regulating process of melanin synthesis, which translates into preventing appearance of blemishing spots on face.
